The Miss Ludington Area Scholarship Pageant is a preliminary pageant to Miss Michigan and Miss America Organizations. The Miss America Organization is the largest scholarship opportunity to young women in America, awarding more than $45 million in scholarship money.
The Miss Ludington Area Scholarship Pageant is for young women living in Mason, Manistee and Oceana Counties.
Scholarships awarded in 2009 were more than $2,000.00.
